    1. 1. Paul - Purchase Order Although Paul’s title is purchasing, he is constantly doing far more than that. He is anticipating demand, trying to convince vendors to stay on time, negotiates deals, talks to engineering about the new items coming up, and even receives shipments when they are from specific vendors. Paul is printing reports a few times a day just to make sure enough of everything is on ordered. Also he takes a look at production every now and then to make sure things are utilized as scheduled. His hectic days at work are compensated by the satisfaction he gets when everything is on hand at the exact time and exact quantity.
