A significant majorities of U.S. adults use Facebook and YouTube. 18 to 24 yr olds embrace a variety of platforms and use them frequently. 78% of 18 to 24 yr olds use Snapchat, and 71% visit the it multiple times per day. 71% of 18 to 24 year olds now use Instagram, and close to half (45%) are Twitter users. VIDEO, PICTURES, & GRAPHICS Facebook ● Video performs better than all other types of Facebook posts. ● The most common reactions to top Facebook video posts are LOVE and HAHA ● Inspirational, funny, and practical content generates the most engagement Twitter ● Tweets with video attracted 10X more engagements than Tweets without video ● Tweets with images receive 150% more retweets than tweets without images.
