  3. 3. RED• Aggressive, Bold, Sexy• Red is a color that is vibrant and screams “look at me”• If you are going for a modern look, add a touch of red into your logo• Red is not a good choice if you are trying to be easy on the eyes, however, adding hints of red tones to a website or logo can enhance certain keywords or phrases• Logos/Things that are RED:
  4. 4. ORANGE• Warm, Inviting, Subtle• Orange is a color that is a cross between two colors that can be quite invasive and its no wonder that it is so pleasing to the eye• If you are representing a community or you are trying to represent a space that “feels like home” orange can help you do that• If you are looking for a more up to date take on orange, try using it as an accent color, or even pairing it up with a bolder more demanding color to balance out the message• Logos/Things that are ORANGE:
  5. 5. YELLOW• Bright, Young, Playful• Yellow is a color that gives off a youthful (almost childish) feeling• If you decide to add yellow to any design, try to use it in moderation unless your company is focused on youth• Logos/Things that are YELLOW:
  6. 6. GREEN• Stability, Sustainable, Natural• GREEN is a color that represents nature, money and stability• People will look for a connection between your company and the environment if you include a lot of green tones in your logo• Likewise, if you want to establish a sense of community look no further than a green background or text• Logos/Things that are GREEN:
  7. 7. BLUE• Soothing, Innovation, Intelligence• Blue is an interesting color and its message depends on the shade of blue you use• A lighter blue gives a feeling of comfort, a dark blue gives a feeling of higher education and a bright blue gives us the feeling of something new and innovative• Choose your shade wisely and it will help add to your website or logo• Logos/Things that are BLUE:
  8. 8. PURPLE• Prestigious, Royal, Mystery• Purple is a color that conveys wealth, mystery, and power.• Beware darker shades of purple, they give us a more negative message if the purple is too dark.• Use purple as a main color and accent it with a subtle color such as white or yellow.• Logos/Things that are PURPLE:
  9. 9. BLACK• Power, Elegance, and Death• Black is a color that can be looked at as negative, however, black also represents a sense of power, elegance, and prestige• If you are going use Black in your logo, use it to accent a color that is not as strong• Logos/Things that are BLACK:
