Using SIAF with a transformative approach • Evaluation of technologies on two levels: - Performance of technology - Enabling/constraining environment • From evaluation to scaling: not only tailoring technology to perform better, but also piloting approaches to promote an enabling environment. • Example: Not only changing the technical set-up of forage chopper, but also supporting farmer groups (training) to develop gender- sensitive constitutions
