  2. 2. Who are Exceptional Children?<br />Students who are intellectually gifted or students who are physically or mentally handicapped.<br />These students require educational or physical modifications and accommodations in their learning environments. <br />
  3. 3. Will I teach these students?<br />YES!<br />
  4. 4. How will I teach them?<br />Differentiate Instruction according to their learning styles and their engagements. <br />
  5. 5. How do I help a student with ADHD?<br />Create a structured plan and STICK TO IT!<br />ADHD students must have a routine ! <br />Behavior Plan<br />Give them something to keep their hands busy while listening or completing work, ( stress ball, plastic coin, paper clip)<br />Intergrade computers/laptops/promethean boards for educational games and activities<br />Source : www.helpingguide.org<br />
