Some problems keep recurring within
organizations. I refer to these challenges as Zombie
Business Problems.

issue, then you give up your right of
control over the issue and it will select
the path of least resistance.” (Susan

How to Prevent Zombie Problems
The choice is yours — ignore recurring problems,
fix them or prevent them.
Recurring Problems —
Inadequate New Business Development or Fundraising
Many organizations are underusing proposals.
Marketer-centric sales processes are less effective.
Suggested Strategy —
Increase use of one-page and unsolicited proposals.
Emphasize customer-centric sales processes.
Zombie Problems —
Overpromotion
Suggested Strategy —
Emphasize educational content.
Reduce unnecessary links and promotional language.
Too much promotion and not enough information.
Potential buyers want high-quality content.
