  • Google’d for an hour and realized that you should have just asked someone?Did you ever need advice for a unique problem or question and sites like Google or Wikipedia are useless?Tried to join a community but couldn’t be bothered with their crazy registration form?Looked for a community that is passionate about your interests but couldn’t find it?Ever submitted a question on a forum and never heard back?Wasting time maintaining your profiles on different communities you joined some time ago?
  • New sites like Quora or Namesake pop-up but they just add yet another community but no one is connecting the dots!
  • Last year, I went to Mt. Whitney with my 13 year old son and he was fine. Granted, he was very well conditioned – he plays soccer 3 days a week and is also on a track team. As a family we hike approx. 10 miles quite often. So my son is a seasoned hiker. So while it does depend your kids, I would say, with good training, they should be able to do it. Good luck and hope you guys make it there soon!Yes, it is possible with your kids. I have gone many times to Mt. Whitney and seen several kids that age doing just fine. Make sure to carry everything you need to make a quick get away so you don’t get stuck there. BTW - training is critical! So, if your kids are couch potatoes, DON’T GO!
