But which women are setting their mark in Latin America’s fast-growing business sector?<br /> <br />The editorial staff of Latin Business Chronicle has selected 50 of them in our second annual list of Latin America’s top businesswomen.<br />TOP 50 See who Latin Business Chronicle identifies as the top 50 businesswomen in Latin America.  (Collage by Selvin Chi/Latin Trade Group with archive photos)<br /> <br />The group includes natives of Latin America as well as foreign executives who have a significant impact on the region, supervising companies that are among the top tax payers and employers in several countries in the region.<br />Adriana Cisneros <br />Vice Chairman and Director of Strategy <br />Cisneros Group of Companies <br />Cisneros is a key executive at Venezuela´s Cisneros Group of Companies, one of the largest privately held media, entertainment, telecommunications and consumer products organizations in the world. Cisneros works closely with her father, Cisneros Chairman Gustavo Cisneros, in managing operations and in developing strategy for the Group as a whole. She is also the General Manager of Tropicalia, a Cisneros Group luxury real estate project in the Dominican Republic. Cisneros is also President of the Fundación Cisneros, which supports a range of charitable and humanitarian efforts in Latin America and in Hispanic communities worldwide. She received a masters degree in journalism from New York University in 2005 and a bachelors degree from Columbia University in 2002. <br /> <br />
