Tips how to write an argumentative essay

  1. 1. An Argumentative Essay?  An argumentative essay is a type of essay which mainly deals with the views of the writer and attempts to prove a point on the same.  The writer has to struggle to convince others with opposing beliefs. An argumentative essay must have some vital components to convey its strong points.
  2. 2. How to Write an Argumentative Essay?  The Introduction must hold sentences that catch the readers eye until the conclusion. To be unique and stand out from the crowd, you have to make the introduction very attractive and full of potential  It must be effective to read with convenient points
  3. 3. Why The Five-Paragraph Essay For?  The essay is made to have a five paragraph structure, not any common essay with two arguments supporting our view and one against. The topic chosen for the purpose needs to be attractive in the eyes of readers. The sentences must be very hefty and genuine.  Using a five-paragraph structure as the layout of the essay with three arguments stuffed inside is for a well-constructed thesis statement.  Must get to the point quickly and gain your readers’ interest right from the start.
  4. 4. How to Write a 5 Paragraph Essay  The introduction  Write about body paragraphs. Usually, the 2nd, 3rd, and 4th paras are the body paragraph  Now within this three paras, you’ve to clear the entire topic. Every ideal and engaging body paragraph follows a structure. Which is-  Introduction Sentence  Data or Argument (depends on your topic demands)  Conclusion.
  5. 5. First paragraph within the body.  There should be a very powerful reasoning backed up with appropriate example and a brilliantly elaborate illustration at this paragraph. The very opening statement of this paragraph should welcome the closing sentence of the introductory paragraph.  Second paragraph  This paragraph need to have the second most powerful argument together with the second most appropriate example and second most brilliant illustration or in other words, it should have a smooth and clear succession from the previous one
  6. 6. Third paragraph  The reasoning, examples and illustrations at this stage should be shallow with a far resemblance to the immediate former paragraph. Its first statement should be a continuation of the closing line of the previous paragraph.  There should be a relationship between its subject and the thesis statement which is in the opening paragraph. The concluding line of this paragraph should alert the reader that the last key statement pertaining to this essay is being released
  7. 7. How to write a 5-Paragraph Essay Conclusion? Concluding paragraph  This final paragraph does briefing of what already has been captured. Given this is the final opportunity the writer has to win the heart of the reader to his or her side, it is very necessary to restate thesis and provide three most powerful and authentic supporting arguments. The following need to be in this last paragraph:  An allusion to the pattern used in the introductory paragraph  A summary of the three main points from the body of the essay  It should sum up your entire work
