Adi Irfan Che-Ani (Sr Dr.) is currently an Associate Professor at Department of Architecture, Faculty of Engineering and Built Environment, Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia – UKM (The National University of Malaysia) and also the Deputy Director (Academic), Pusat Citra Universiti – Citra UKM. He attained his PhD from University of Malaya, Malaysia in the discipline of facility management (performance measurement). His research interests are focused on Building Condition Assessment-BCA (Condition Index), Building Information Modelling (BIM)-based BCA, and Soft skills & Student Competency. By profession, he is a Registered and Professional Building Surveyor in Malaysia, Chartered Building Engineer (UK) and Committee Member of Malaysian Association of Registered Building Surveyors (MyRBS). He is also a Fellow Member of The Chartered Association of Building Engineers (CABE), United Kingdom and a Malaysian Green Building Index (GBI) Certified Facilitator. Sr Dr. Adi actively involved in many research and to date have published more than 350 documents comprises of international and national indexed journals, proceedings, conferences, invited/keynote papers, technical reports and bulletin/magazine in relation to his research interest. His consultancy works mainly covers the building condition survey and inspection. He is The Founder of Condition Survey Protocol (CSP) 1 Matrix, an analytical tool for building condition survey work; and Chief Editor for Journal of Building Performance, published by UKM Department of Architecture and Royal Institution of Surveyors Malaysia (RISM) Building Surveying Division. He is also the recipient of the Malaysia Building Surveyor Award 2016 and Young Building Surveyor Award 2013. Adi Irfan Che-Ani (Sr Dr.) ialah seorang Profesor Madya di Jabatan Seni Bina, Fakulti Kejuruteraan dan Alam Bina, Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia (UKM) dan juga Timbalan Pengarah (Akademik), Pusat Citra Universiti - Citra UKM. Beliau memperolehi PhD dari Universiti Malaya, Malaysia dalam bidang Pengurusan Fasiliti (pengukuran prestasi). Penyelidikan beliau tertumpu kepada Penilaian Keadaan Bangunan-BCA (Indeks Kondisi), Pemodelan Maklumat Bangunan (BIM)-berasaskan BCA, dan Kemahiran Insaniah & Kompetensi Pelajar. Secara praktis profesional, beliau adalah seorang Juruukur Bangunan Berdaftar dan Juruukur Bangunan Profesional di Malaysia, Jurutera Bangunan Berkanun (UK) dan Ahli Jawatankuasa, Persatuan Jurukur Bangunan Berdaftar Malaysia (MyRBS). Beliau juga merupakan Ahli Felo The Chartered Association of Building Engineers (CABE), United Kingdom dan Fasilitator GBI Bertauliah di Malaysia. Sr Dr Adi terlibat secara aktif dalam pelbagai penyelidikan dan sehingga kini telah menerbitkan lebih daripada 350 dokumen yang terdiri daripada jurnal berindeks antarabangsa dan kebangsaan, prosiding, kertas persidangan, pembentang jemputan/kertas utama, laporan teknikal dan buletin/majalah berhubung dengan penyelidikan yang beliau lakukan. Praktis perundingan beliau fokus kepada pemeriksaan dan penilaian keadaan bangunan. Beliau adalah Pengasas kepada Condition Survey Protocol (CSP) 1 Matrix, alat analisis pengurusan untuk penilaian keadaan kerja ukur bangunan; dan Ketua Editor untuk Jurnal Prestasi Bangunan, yang diterbitkan oleh Jabatan Seni Bina UKM dan Bahagian Ukur Bangunan Pertubuhan
