  • Dr. Benjamin Bloom 1950‘s created this taxonomy of thinking paradigms... \nHe found that 95% of test questions given to our students were recall knowledge- lowest level\nDefine, list, label\nits 2011 - has this changed? NO\n\nMajority of classrooms do not go beyond Knowledge and Understand-\nIf you get the “fun” teacher or “good” teacher you may get to apply your knowledge and possibly analyze the data you receive.\nThe GC GLH will provide a learning environment that encompasses all thinking skills but will have its main focus on the top of the taxonomy\n
  • Students entering schools next year will retire in the year 2071\nwe have no idea what 2071 will look like (we don't know what five years will look like)\n- yet we are educating to prepare them for their careers \nwe all are born with creativity- but we are educated out of it- in 2071- we will need to be as creative as we ever were\n\n
