  7. 7. Spiritual dirt/stains LUST is having self-absorbed desire of object, person, or experience above God. - The root of all evil (1 Timothy 6:10) - Worshiping Anything Above God (Colossians 3:5) - The Love Of Unrighteousness. (2 Thess. 2:12)
  8. 8. Spiritual dirt/stains PRIDE (Proverbs 21:4) - is a mental attitude; it is not attainment itself. "Pride goeth before destruction, and an haughty spirit before a fall." (Proverbs 16:8 KJV)
  9. 9. Spiritual dirt/stains I HATE PRIDE!! I really hate pride because it leads people to destruction It makes people disagree to another. I hate pride because disrespect occurs It teaches the students to talk back against their teachers; As well as the children to their parents. I hate pride because makes one self righteous and greed, And making to boast with their deeds. It empowers the froward and upward of his own self. It upgrades the level of self-highness and self isolation to others
  10. 10. Spiritual dirt/stains I HATE PRIDE!! But the very thing the I hate pride is, It makes human depart from God. It makes a great distance between God and man. This causes the man to sin, because it is the primary cause of sin. Lucifer became Satan because of PRIDE. It makes all things fall; Fall from the glory of God, and leads to tragic result Pride result tragedy, destruction and all negative results that you can ever imagine. And the worst of all results is that if you found your self in the eternal torture of fire,, IN HELL!! THAT’S WHY I HATE PRIDE!!
  11. 11. Spiritual dirt/stains ANGER The Bible describes anger as a sin - a sin of mental attitude. Anger usually produces an emotional feeling, but the feeling is not the anger. The thought pattern which produced the feeling is the sinful anger.
  12. 12. Spiritual dirt/stains ANGER 1. Orge – referring to mental anger 2. thumos – for mental anger e.g. gossip, self-righteous judging, maligning, complaining.
  13. 13. Spiritual dirt/stains Characteristics of Sinful ANGER 1. Anger is sin from sin nature (Gal. 5:19-21), "Now the deeds of the flesh [sin nature] are evident, which are: immorality, impurity, sensuality, idolatry, sorcery, enmiti es, strife, jealousy, outbursts of anger, disputes, dissensions, factions, envying, drunken ness, carousing, and things like these..."

(Eph. 4:30-31), "And do not grieve the Holy Spirit of God, by whom you were sealed for the day of redemption. Let all bitterness and wrath and anger and clamor and slander be put away from you, along with all malice. And be kind to one another, tender-hearted, forgiving each other, just as God in Christ also has forgiven you."

(Col. 3:8,9), "But now you also, put them all aside: anger, wrath, malice, slander, {and} abusive speech from your mouth. Do not lie to one another, since you laid aside the old self with its {evil} practices"
  17. 17. Spiritual dirt/stains Characteristics of Sinful ANGER 5. Anger hinders effective prayer. (1 Tim. 2:8,) "Therefore I want the men in every place to pray, lifting up holy hands, without wrath and dissension."
  18. 18. Spiritual dirt/stains Characteristics of Sinful ANGER 6. Anger is always accompanied by other sins. (Prov. 29:22), "An angry person stirs up strife, and a hot tempered person abounds in transgression."

Anger destroys a nation. (Prov. 21:19; 22:24; 24:25; 29:22. Amos 1:11), "Thus says the Lord, "For three transgressions of Edom and for four I will not revoke its {punishment}, Because he pursued his brother with the sword, While he stifled his compassion; His anger also tore continually, And he maintained his fury forever."
