VALUE-BASEDMODELS& THERAPEUTICSTRATEGIES INACTION We are working with Roche to improve how diabetes care is managed and delivered through the development of a data-driven core analytics platform for Roche’s digital diabetes ecosystem. The platform and ecosystem will seamlessly connect patients, their caregivers and healthcare providers with a suite of new digital health services. ROCHE Improving care for diabetes patients. Accenture is working with Biogen on MS PATHS which uses advances in technology to generate and collect standardized patient data during routine office visits that could lead to new discoveries in MS. As of February 2018, the solution handles 10,000+ patients from 10 centers in Europe and the US.

The program drives consumer continuity through a Sitecore-built website, mobile app, in-office collateral, full support management (call center, program brochures, sales training and FAQs), analytics, campaign management and browser-based dashboards where the company can track and review program performance. This company had overlapping channels, vendors, platforms and processes which caused excessive spend and redundancies, limited brand consistency and time to market. We developed the transformation strategy and created a centralized global content factory that consolidated 20+ internal web content management systems across 65 countries to manage approximately 1,200 websites for nearly 100 different product brands in a single, cloud-based platform. PATIENT SERVICES IN ACTION We worked with Shire to build a user-friendly mobile app that helps patients with rare diseases better manage their condition. Built on Accenture’s INTIENT Patient Platform and integrated with Shire’s CRM services, the app helps patients find disease and product information, navigate insurance and financial support, receive patient support directly via phone calls and texts, update their personal data, and use an e-diary to monitor their symptoms and health events. Accenture helped a global pharmaceutical giant use deep learning to develop a new kind of solution for diabetes care in emerging economies. With a complex computer vision algorithm embedded in a simple mobile app, they’re helping patients measure their glucose levels as often as they need—with over 70% accuracy, and growing.
