Apart from growth and profitability pressures, these include internal legacy operations, growing customer expectations and new marketplace interlopers. Appetite for new digital lifestyle services is growing, as is the desire to pay for them. For example, 71% of millennials are prepared to spend $1,500, or more, to make their home smart. And 43% see CSPs as the preferred smart home provider, 10% higher than tech companies.
