  2. 2. EUREKA!! <ul><li>I was watching “Fever Pitch” with my wife on Star Movies. </li></ul><ul><li>The movie talks about intense rivalry between New York Yankees vs Boston Red Sox in Baseball. It is one of the biggest sports rivalry in the world, more than 100 years old </li></ul><ul><li>Movie was good, worth watching once but my head started revolving around the rivalry and passion associated with it. </li></ul><ul><li>It was so intense that I literally dreamt of this idea in my sleep </li></ul><ul><li>The first thing in the morning (before even saying good morning) I do is to explain my wife this idea. </li></ul><ul><li>Already pissed with my new ideas everyday she tells me to “GO TO SLEEP!!” </li></ul><ul><li>Well but who can stop the dream idea?? (literally  ) </li></ul>

Why R4E? <ul><li>At rivals4ever we fan the rivalries by pitching PASSIONATE fans of two rival companies/players/nations/celebrities etc. against one another. </li></ul><ul><li>Rivalries will be based on the premise that one not only has to support his idol but NECESSARILY oppose the rival. </li></ul><ul><li>Rivalries can be as big as United States vs Russia and as small as my car vs your car. </li></ul><ul><li>It creates a worldwide open platform for people who wish to declare themselves as fans and anti-fans. NOBODY is beyond this - everyone supports at least one - Pepsi vs Coke OR India vs Australia </li></ul>

Problem <ul><li>Rivals4Ever is basically a worldwide phenomenon which we see in our day to day life but there has never been a single platform to support that. </li></ul><ul><li>There are fan sites and anti fans site but never a single site for both.  </li></ul><ul><li>There are communities on various social networks for fans and anti fans but seldom a single community for both. </li></ul><ul><li>There are forums to discuss the rivalries but content is not organized and they do not provide enough fun even though users are passionate about supporting their idol or side. </li></ul>

Solution <ul><li>, a place where your passion is recognized and respected. </li></ul><ul><li>On Rivals4Ever, fans can create new rivalries as per their wish and they can promote it by inviting their friends, communities, colleagues to support either side. Everyone can support only one side so if you are fan of side A you can not become fan of side B. </li></ul><ul><li>Fans are equipped with weapons to defend their idols and shall attack their rivals with their flaws . </li></ul><ul><li>They are able to upload photos, embed videos of their idols' unforgettable moments, meet other like minded people, hold events, sell products, debate passionately by posting comments, etc. </li></ul><ul><li>Section for news , upcoming events or fixtures will keep fans informed about the latest happenings and keep the fire burning.   </li></ul>

Solution Contd… <ul><li>There are around 10 categories like sports, business, history, technology etc. in which users can create rivalries. </li></ul><ul><li>Top rivalries in each category are featured based on total number of fans and popularity. “All Time Great Rivalries” will contain rivalries that are generations old and have yet to see many generations. For example Yankees vs Red Sox , Stanford vs Harvard etc. </li></ul><ul><li>Each rivalry has gadget called “ Energy Meter ” , which is dependent on the fan base, fan activities and quality of contents. It will be a true barometer of each rival's popularity. </li></ul><ul><li>It is bound to take all the rivalries of this world to a new level because it shall cater to the emotional need of every fan - the need to SCREAM that I support A and oppose B. </li></ul>
