  14. 14. 5. IdRef users• Information professionnals in ABES networks, through authentification• Any application wishing to use IdRef for author/subject access points within Higher education and research community, for shared cataloguing of authority files• Anyone: IdRef is open on the web 14
  15. 15. 6. Licences and rights• Open Data licence (Etalab): free reuse, incl. for commercial purpose. Attribution• Etalab is compatible with ODC-By and BY-NC- SA (required by TEL and Europeana) 15
  16. 16. IdRef is open• Standardized formats• Data available for reuse and enrichment• Its search box may be used by other web standards compliant applications• A tool meant for information professionals : enriching the registry is conditioned by a controlled access to data 16
