The colors of the e m b r o i d e r y t h r e a d s are vibrant vegetable colors like red, g r e e n o r yellow. These dyes are extracted from juices of leaves, roots and turmeric. It g e n e r a l l y a k e s 3 to 4months to c o m p l e t eo n e shawl. T t h e girls do t h ew e a v i n g and embroidery while theytend the crops or look after thecattle.
