Projects: make a gallery and ask girls to comment on each
others
Use Studywiz galleries: girls can ‘rate’ and add ‘comments’
Give them checking time before handing in essays ... lots of
obvious mistakes are eradicated this way.
Get them to mark your marking: what do they prefer?
5. ICT
Get a pupil to log in each lesson
Use IWB tools for classroom management ... clock, countdown timer,
ticker-tape announcements, dice
Get one girl or group to work on the classroom computer with
projector so rest of the class can follow.
Film / photo different activities: helps with review and revision
Employ a class researcher / fact finder to look up answers
6. GENERAL
Get the girls to manage the resources and books.
Ask them to do the starter activities / plenary.
Ask girls who understand to explain to others.
Give extra time for thinking / reflecting / reading
