3. Zoo introduction
T introduce the topic of the lesson.
Asks Ls to tell animal names.
Seeking parts of the animals: revision
Animal pictures are in the board. But their parts are missing. Ls
have to find their parts all over the classroom. They can put the
part on the animal if they say a sentences with it.
Revise vocabulary
3x. And freeze in the last
"huh".
T: Today, after being in the
Safari we are going to the
zoo. I like very much the
Budapest Zoo.
Could you tell me some
animals from the zoo?
L: lion, giraffe...
T: Look at these pictures
of the animals. ( name
them). Their parts are
missing. Find the parts
of them in the
classroom quickly.
Now, say a sentences
with the part you have
found.

4. Animal habitats activtity
Ls are going to to hear three sounds: jungle, savannah, water.
Three cards are placed on the walls. When teacher says an
animal Ls have to run to the correct living place. One L have to
make a whole sentence with the animal and its habitat.
New words are matched with their pictures: sloth, chimpanzee,
seal
Zoomap: Who lives in the cage?
T shows a map with the animal cages . Ls have to discover
which animals lives in which cage by reading helping sentences.

can write your answers.

5. Checking: on the board in the big zoomap.
T asks to read out the sentences and put the animals in the
right cage according to their answers.
Zookeeper task
T ask Ls to make pairs ( 3 pairs + 1 group of three)
Makes them pull from the animals: each pair 2 animals.
T demonstrates the task on 1 animal (parrot)
Ls stick the animals on their sheets. Find sentences about the
animal on the board.
Then they introduce them and stick them back to their cages
with the information sheet.

6. When the music stops- game
Ls listen to a music when the T stops it they pull from a bag a
sentence. They have to figure out which animal is it about.
