10. KUALA LUMPUR, 23 September 2013- According
to a recent JobStreet.com survey, employers are
increasingly looking beyond academic results when
it comes to hiring fresh graduates.
The NUMBER ONE deciding factor is
GOOD INTERPERSONAL
COMMUNICATION SKILLS…and followed by
A GOOD COMMAND OF ENGLISH and the right
salary expectation.
12. Note: A total of 1,019 JobStreet.com clients, managers
and senior managers across various industries in
Malaysia participated in this survey conducted in July
2013
13. In November 2011, a Jobstreet poll
of human resource managers found
that more than 50 per cent of
respondents said they were unable
to hire the graduates because of
"poor communication skills and a
notably lack of command of the
English language".

exactly what they want to be and how
they plan to get there.
Not all of us are so sure of our plans,
though, and that's okay too.
School is also not just about careers and
getting a high-paying job after graduation
— it's a place for learning about yourself
and the world
23. As you think about what you “want to be when
you grow up,” ask yourself these questions…
What do I love doing?
What subjects are easy for me?
What are my hobbies?
24. If you love soccer, maybe you could be a
coach some day
If math is your best subject, and things
having to do with money make sense to
you, think about becoming an accountant
25. Choosing to further your education is
choosing to invest in yourself and your
future
26. In addition to increasing your knowledge and bettering your
