A good product and a good service are no longer enough. The product should be attractive, it must allure the user and differ from its competitor. The design offers to the company a strategic positioning allowing the development of its ranges and its markets. This discipline is more than a simple formal definition : Research analysis of needs, search for opportunities, strategic Studies, surveys, innovation, theories, proposals and creativity. workshops, profesional interventions. Each project is revealing identity. It is the expression of know-how and of the men who make it, it translates the dynamics and the ethics of the teams implied in these processes. So the product benefits a better visibility , a real coherence with the range, a direct return on investment (better sales) and an indirect (improvement of the public image), a motivation for the teams (a beautiful product is more pleasant to sell)... The industrial designer is able to understand aims from departments to conceive and create the better answer to users’ expectation and company ‘s skills.

Global process I and my design are beside to you and your will of progress without spending too much. A project is made step by step. First of all we need to expose the market, the constraints and the possibilities. Second step is to position as to work on concepts : the strong ideas which will guide the project. Order : To illustrate an editorial about a “future 2cv” with innovations inspired of the famous Citroën. Proposal : I conceived and drew a modular interior for 6 persons, economical in purchase either in use with a good aspect. The dashboard allows to connect tools where you want and all the materials are natural.

Order : To create a graphic identity for the symphonic orchestra of the university of Nantes directed by Musicampus association. Proposal : A symphonic orchestra is caracterized by its “families” : musicians are ring-positionned around the director in relation to the instruments they are playing. So I drew these “families” around the name of the orchestra. The rent frame symbolizes the young and amateur mood of the students Georges playing classical music in the orchestra.
