  2. 3. <ul><li>TO PROMOTE, SUPPORT, AND INCREASE the capabilities of member institutions in order to enhance Hispanic/Latino student success and opportunities in Higher Education through: </li></ul><ul><ul><li>facilitating, promoting, and nurturing strategic alliances among HETS members and the academic, government, and corporate sectors; </li></ul></ul><ul><ul><li>supporting the acquisition and integration of new education-oriented technologies; </li></ul></ul><ul><ul><li>identifying expert support for members; and </li></ul></ul><ul><ul><li>promoting collaborative funding opportunities. </li></ul></ul>MISSION “ Technology innovations offer a mechanism for Hispanic learners to remediate any deficiencies that they might have from previous learning experiences.”
