  3. 3. STAKEHOLDER: The stakeholder is a young spainsh boy, who has not finished his high school studies and has to start working in the familiar business this summer. He is 17 years old. He comes form an affluent family, who manages two entreprises.

SAY: •The interviewee did not complete his high school education •During the summer has to work in the familiar business •His passion: photography •Tried to study humanities and arts, and finally left the school •Future´s projection: study a business and marketing module •Likes: friends, fun and informality at school •Dislikes: lack of freedom and gravity at work •Teachers don´t empathize with their students •Loves photography but doesn´t know how to become a good professional •Loves creatve working spaces and teamwork •Teenagers want to work but they don´t feel able to deal with hard rutine

DO: •Nervous person, with lots of energy •Shows confident and confortable with interviewer •Extremely apathic bahavior at school • Spontaneous responses •Unwillingness with the work´s requirements, especially with schedules •Associates the concept of “being good professional” with “study” not with “learn” or “practice” •Easygoing person, as long as he is treated gently •Has difficulty concentrating •Has great willingness to learn, not to study •Criticizes easily demotivating attitude of his teachers and classmates

THINK: •Recognizes its lack of commitment to accomplish the working rutine •School does not provide knowledge about working environment •To much theory at high school with no practice of solving real problems •Stake on the school-to-work transition is due to the absence of an adaptation phase for teens •All young people want to grow quickly •All people from his background want to work •Motivation is very important to progress in work, and many employers ingnore it in Spain

FEEL: •Feels optimistic about his future carrer •Feels able to learn new disciplines •Does not feel motivated to continue with his studies •Does not feel confident with teachers •Sometimes feels stressed by the heavy workload •Feels pressured by his family because of his poor results at work •Wants (willing) to improve himself in sales management •Well tolerates teamwork, feels especially motivated •Interviewee loves to learn and have fun while working
  8. 8. INTERVIEWER´S INSIGHTS: 1. Teenagers experience hiper sensibility regarding the changing background 2. Absence of empathy contact between student and teachers in spanish high school 3. Absence of special educational programs in spanish high school which serve to motivate students and enable them to start up working. 4. Student´s unwillingness to change their attitude regarding the learning process 5. Important for students and future employees: learn and enjoy at the same time
  9. 9. PROBLEM STATEMENT: A young spanish boy which is only 17 years old, undergraduated from high school, needs a way to find out a special educational program in spanish high school which serve to motivate students and enable them to start up working.
