About
I studied physics and mathematics in Utrecht (2010-2013), Cambridge (2013-2014) and Paris (2014-2015). Since November 2015 I am doing a PhD at the Department of Bionanoscience, Kavli Institute of Nanoscience, TU Delft. My field of research is somewhere between biophysics, systems biology and quantitative biology. The aim of my PhD is to gain a better quantitative and physical understanding of cellular processes such as gene expression, self-assembly and cell differentiation. The challenge is to quantify such effects without the need to know all biochemical details of the processes involved. Ultimately, understanding biological systems in a quantitative way will bring us closer to addressi...
