My pedagogical portfolio

The following portfolio is a tool that shows the development and performance in the process of my academic practices as a teacher in the educational institution Jorge Eliecer Gaitan Sede Simon Bolivar. Besides, This portfolio is open to reflection where we can find the activities developed by the children, the different ways to learn English according to the methods that I used, songs and videos worked during the classes, course documents, the social project carried out in the educational institution. Moreover, we can find lesson plans which allowed the development of the classes , some reflections, annexes and the attendances. To the development of this portfolio I tried to do so creative. The process was no difficult but it required many time and dedication.

  6. 6. • During the process of my practices as a teacher I Could have a wonderful experience with children. I learned and improve in many aspects such us implement more activities, designed didactic games and interact more with students and be part of their lives. There were some difficulties but I always found solutions. • Be a teacher is not a easy task and it is not only a profession, it is a lifestyle that leads you to be better every day. It required dedication and effort. • Children didn’t have a good process in the English subject due to they didn’t have a training teacher, however the knew some things in English. • The use of technological tools are a good resource to give the classes because children are more attentive.
  7. 7. SUGGESTIONS • To do more use of the technological tools • More interaction with students • Change the activities more constantly specially in first grade • Keep the control of students implementing different strategies.
