  3. 4. PODCASTS <ul><li>Simply an audio file (usually MP3 file format) or series of files which can be downloaded from the internet. Most common downloading software is iTunes. Podcasts can be played on any MP3 player eg iPod and most mobile phones </li></ul><ul><li>Some podcasts come in video format (usually MP4 file format) and these are sometimes known as vodcasts. </li></ul>

BLOGS <ul><li>In its simplest form an online log or diary. </li></ul><ul><li>Often associated with podcasts where each episode is accompanied by information in another format. </li></ul><ul><li>Blogs allow one or many users to “post” and then others can read the post and leave comments about it. </li></ul>
  5. 6. WIKIS <ul><li>A website that allows others to create, edit and delete its content. </li></ul><ul><li>Most famous example is Wikipedia. </li></ul><ul><li>Useful for collaborative working and sharing across schools/countries etc </li></ul>
