Every device sends 256 bytes of data every 4 minutes A private APN may be provided (depending on the aggregator) which has already been configured in the GGSN On receiving a request, the GGSN recognizes the IP address and routes the data packets to the server in the aggregator NOC The aggregator NOC is connected to the client’s NOC using a secure connection such as IPSec through the Internet or a leased line CDRs are generated by both the GGSN and SGSN and sent to the billing platform in the aggregator NOC The billing information and other reporting functions/tools can be accessed from the client NOC by using the same secure connection that is used by the client NOC to retrieve the payload from the devices or through SSL via Internet and a respective web portal in the aggregator NOC For the transport of the payload data to the client NOC either UDP or TCP/IP can be used.
