Lack of comprehension & regression
How to solve the above issues?
Problem 3: Lack of comprehension & regression
Maintain a summary of at least 2 articles that you read everyday. The summary should be a brief one, highlighting the main idea of the article. This way, your brain will be in ‘ attentive mode’ always, thereby building your attention span.
As an added exercise, for a few of these articles, write the purpose of the paragraphs while you are reading. This will form a roadmap of the passage in your mind.
www.wordpandit.com
21. 21. Key Points for Reading Comprehension
ALWAYS REMEMBER THE FOLLOWING:

Identify the key points in any text. Underline these portions to begin with and try to recall them when you finish your first read of the text.
 22. 22. Read as diversely as you can, that is as many subjects as you can. CAT challenges a reader from economics to philosophy, so develop as wide a spectrum as you can (read the sample articles given in the notes section).
 23. 23. Reading is a long term habit, do not expect any miracles. It will take time to build and for results to show.
 24. 24. And do check out the CAT sources given in the notes section. These are your best guides for what you should expect in the exam.

www.wordpandit.com
