next event I greeted everyone and then introduced the people that I

3. I feel strongly that you have to find the type of networking event
that is conducive to your style. Happy hours are my worst
nightmare, but small, structured events that take place before or

5. Socializing in large groups may not work for introverts. Focusing on
meaningful one-on-one relationships with fewer people might work
better. Identify people with whom you click, and then schedule

6. Social networks are the perfect platform for introverts! You're able
to speak freely without having to be face-to-face with someone.
And then, when you are comfortable with a connection you've

7. Touch base with people you know are attending a networking event
in advance, and ask them to introduce you to a few other people.
The same concept applies to online networking. Ask friends and

8. Do not dress in an understated manner. People won't see you. You
want to attract people to you so you don't have to go out and
"pounce.” Wear red. It attracts people, and when people come to

9. For me, like going from driving peacefully on a quiet secondary
