Each year WCC recognizes the efforts and many successes of it's members for reducing their dependence on petroleum-based fuels, implementing alternative fuel vehicles and infrastructure, and for helping improve our air quality. Also, this year we will be recognizing our Wisconsin Smart Fleet partners and celebrating our 20th year as a coalition!

  27. 27. LEADERSHIP AWARD Outstanding Leadership in Vehicle Miles Traveled Reduced TRANSIT EXPRESS •Displaced more than 18,000 gasoline gallon equivalents and over 220 tons of greenhouse gases by using mass transit to reduce the amount of vehicle miles traveled.
  28. 28. LEADERSHIP AWARD CONTRACT TRANSPORT SERVICES •Displaced more than 80,000 gasoline gallon equivalents and over 150 tons of greenhouse in 2013. They are currently expanding their fleet to include Compressed Natural Gas (have 15 CNG vehicles currently) and are partnered with the EPA as a SmartWay Affiliate to help reduce greenhouse gas emissions, curb air pollution, and improve fuel efficiency for sustainability.
  29. 29. LEADERSHIP AWARD Small Fleet Innovation Award PORT WASHINGTON POLICE DEPARTMENT •Currently have 3 propane bi-fuel police vehicles in their fleet of 7. Next year, they are expanding their fleet to include 3 additional propane bi-fuel vehicles.
