BRINGING OUR VALUES TO LIFE | Sophie Coady @sophiestarry | 4 WHERE WE WERE The “pyramid” version was launched in 2013 to help staff understand how the values fit into our overall vision and strategy. There was a single page on the intranet about the values which had a link to the pyramid. It received less than 50 views per month.

Stand up and speak your mind. Achieve. Do the right thing. Make it personal. Care, be passionate, have fun. Respect our diversity. Learn from each other, share your enthusiasm and take pride in each other’s achievements, and work as a team. Understand them. Be part of their whole experience. Think big, think long-term. Make every moment count and stick with them all the way. Do what matters most. Three week coordinated launch was both in-person and online

Sessions were run at every IG office globally, from China with 3 people to UK with 750.

Dedicated theme sections were born… BEYOND THE LAUNCH… What did employees want? • More on how IG plans to give employees confidence to live the values • More insight into how to “Champion the Client” for non-client-facing staff

BRINGING OUR VALUES TO LIFE | Sophie Coady @sophiestarry | 18 SO WHAT DIFFERENCE HAS OUR INTRANET MADE? • Supported the launch period with plenty of engaging information, available to everyone • Keeps the values alive beyond the launch period • Examples of values in action enables us to share best practice and inspire others • Helps to celebrate our unique-ness – both as IG and as individuals across different countries • Encourages international content and participation • Continuous new content in various media (news, videos, audio) keeps it current and engaging • Ultimately has also driven more traffic to IG hub and other site content
