How to Download the Bluefire Reader App for the iPad

  2. 2. Why Use Bluefire Reader App for eBooks?<br />The Overdrive App available for the iPad is the App developed for the iPhone, and an iPhone size screen:<br />Therefore the resolution is not made for full screen viewing on the iPad.<br />

  4. 4. First, download the bluefire Reader App from the App Store. Open the App.<br />
  5. 5. Before you can use the App you will need to authorize it with your Adobe ID. Select “Authorize”.<br />
  6. 6. Enter Adobe ID (email address) & PIN. Select “Continue”. (If you do not have an Adobe ID, select “Get Adobe ID”)<br />
  7. 7. Select “OK”. The next step will be on your person computer. <br />
  8. 8. Starting with a book you have already checked out, select “Download”. (If need help with check out, see other presentations)<br />
  9. 9. Select “OK” to open with Digital Editions. Then open iTunes & connect iPad to computer.<br />
  10. 10. Select your iPad under DEVICES tab on left, and select the Apps tab at top of main iTunes window. Scroll down.<br />
  11. 11. Select the Bluefire Reader in the left Apps column, then select the “Add” button at the bottom of the right column.<br />
  12. 12. The popup window will show files in My Digital Editions folder. Select “The_Ask_and_the_Answer”. Select “Open”.<br />
  13. 13. Notice The Ask and the Answer has been added to the documents file. Safely disconnect the iPad.<br />
  14. 14. Open the Bluefire Reader App, and select the Library tab. You should see the eBook listed. Click on it.<br />
