How to make a Hangi

  2. 2. The Aim <ul><li>To Make it perfect and crispy </li></ul>
  3. 3. What is needed ? <ul><li>Oven Trays covered in Tin foil </li></ul><ul><li>Pumpkin </li></ul><ul><li>Vegetables </li></ul><ul><li>Pork (pig) and lamb </li></ul><ul><li>Banana leaves and hot rocks </li></ul><ul><li>And coal </li></ul>
  4. 4. What is To be Done <ul><li>Dig a hole ( 2 metres wide and 4 metres deep ) </li></ul><ul><li>Food is to be prepared </li></ul><ul><li>And trays are to be washed </li></ul>
  5. 5. Method <ul><li>1. Dig the hole </li></ul><ul><li>2.Prepare the food </li></ul><ul><li>3.Put the coal or hot rocks in the hole </li></ul><ul><li>4.Put the food in the tray </li></ul><ul><li>5.Then put the tray in the hole </li></ul><ul><li>6.Then finally put the banana leaves on top of the trays and wait for 6-7 hours to cook </li></ul>
