Tips for lesson <br />Be prepared<br />Make it Fun <br />Try and relate to their interest<br />Make it clear which types of jobs these skills would be used in<br />Always make it clear how students can move on to the next level question them about it<br />GCSE & A-Level lessons use the mark scheme make it clear to students how many marks they can achieve if they work hard<br />If in doubt make additional resources to support learners <br />Don’t be scared to stop lesson and bring students back to middle if 98% of them don’t know what they are doing.<br />Don’t be afraid to change your plan but make sure its relevant and you leave time for plenary <br />

Record on screen video demonstrating how to do specific formulas or create queries etc <br />Create a step by step sheet<br />Create differentiated tasks for specific students<br />Create differentiated worksheets taking into consideration language and level of questioning<br />Get student to self reflect on their learning and understanding and let them decide on what worksheet or task they do<br />Give specific instructions to support staff on which students to help and how to help them (if being observed have a copy of this) <br />By task/resource/outcome/support <br />Differentiation <br />
