Having an experience of 10 years I present myself as a techno-functional consultant with extensive expertise in
AS/400 and Supply Chain Domain. During my tenure, I have had an opportunity to contribute towards the

VISION (MACPAC developed by Anderson Consulting) is a complete planning and control system, catering

Role: As a Systems Analyst my role would entail receiving and analyzing requirements from the user or
analyst from the remote site, prepare detailed technical design, use case designing and system testing,
promoting new and changed configurable to production system, supervising and assisting in coding activities

Baxter Health Care European Applications Support Platform : AS/400, RPG, CL
Baxter is a world leader in the development and manufacture of life saving products and technologies. Baxter's
European operations encompass 90 offices, numerous manufacturing facilities, two Automated Distribution
Centre and a network of sales offices across the continent. Support, maintenance and enhancement of the entire
suite of applications for Europe have been outsourced to Capgemini India.
Role: As a Supply Chain Consultant my role includes support applications related to the following modules:
Order Management, Warehouse Management, Interfaces to Automated Warehouse Software, Invoice
Management, QC, Purchasing, Material Receiving and Inventory Control.
Responsibility: Typically entails problems relating to configuration changes, support of various business
cases functionally as well as by way of technical changes, monitoring of Interfaces between Supply chain and

Fresh ERP Implementation (MAPICS XA)
Client: Bayer Diagnostics India Ltd (BDIL)
Duration: Dec, 2002 to April, 2003
Summary: The project included automating the activities of Purchase, Stores, Quality, Sales, Services &
Spares, Dispatch and Accounts (Receivables and Payables) departments of BDIL by way of implementing
PUR, IM, PDM & COM modules of MAPICS XA. Aakit was responsible for studying the entire business
process & organization structure of BDIL and mapping the ‘as-is’ process to the ‘to-be’ requirements of
MAPICS; documenting the new standard operating procedures and training key users towards the use of
MAPICS; master data loading and transferring existing transactions from legacy system; handholding the users
and problem solving during transaction posting. Also customizing the Purchase Orders, sales invoices and
credit memos generated from MAPICS and redesigning their formats through the use of ‘Interforms’.
Contribution: As-Is study, Business Process Mapping, configuring masters, loading the opening stocks of
Production items, problem solving and Interform designing.

Summary: Towards effective MIS reporting Monsanto India Ltd. (MIL) needs to calculate and assimilate
various costs incurred towards the sales of different products and arrive at its profitability figures. Every month
data is collected manually from different levels of the supply chain and the profitability reported is further split
up product-wise and region-wise.
In order to automate this tedious process Aakit conceptualized and designed a solution wherein:
1. various data elements are extracted from existing BPCS system via data extraction logics and apportion
them at various levels.
2. data entry provision was made for data elements not available otherwise like PI adjustments, warehouse
rent, C&F charges, etc.
3. and cost allocations & calculations were automated into a Profitability Extraction File.
The system then gives a functionality to report profitability at various levels and also email the report to senior

Stock Movement System
Client: Monsanto India Limited (MIL)

Summary: The project is made with the objective to record the movement of MIL’s finished goods between
the factory, various warehouses and the customers. The application automates the order receipts and the goods
issue transactions between the warehouses and sales and returns process and generates the Challan and GRN.
The application tracks the movement of different goods batch-wise and stock condition wise between the
various warehouses. It also generates reports product-wise, batch-wise, location-wise availability of goods and
their expiry at any given time; Goods-in-Transit report; Stock Statement; etc.
Contribution: Requirements analysis; proposed solution design and writing programming instructions;
resource allocation, managing quality and monitoring.

General Ledger Voucher Upload
Client: Bayer India Limited (BIL)

Summary: Through this system BIL intends to automate and improve its voucher creation and upload process
into its accounting software BayMAP. The objective was that the user would feed voucher details in a
predefined template in excel. The excel template would then generate a flat file of the voucher details onto AS/
400 in the common folder. A designated user would then append the voucher details from the common folder
onto the BayMAP.
Contribution: The proposed solution design and the excel template development.

Summary: This is an intranet site that allows J&J’s sales, marketing & finance teams to track global tenders,
which they quote to the international customers. The system calculates cost, margin, NR, GP etc to evaluate
the tender profitability and generates many decision-making reports. The system allows customization of
screens, labels, formulae, and database during its installation. The installation module was made in VB.6.0.
This project bagged the International Innovation Award for 2001.
