Allen’s special place Allen’s special place is the farm where the horse and the buggy were. This is special place because is where he decided for the first time to help a runaway slave. He decided to do that because if his father wasn’t at the farm, the slave owner was going to think that he is helping the runaway slave. That shows that he is a really brave kid and he cares about the life of his family.
