Step by-step--create a-standard

  1. 1. Create a Standard For more information on training and professional development, please contact us at training@einstruction.com Create a Standard Step-By-Step Instructions 1. Click Prepare > Standards. 2. In the Home group, click New . 3. The CPS - Standard Attributes window appears. 4. Type or select the following standard attributes:  The Title of the standard  Details about the standard  A Code, number, or identifier for this standard  The Type of standard. The type helps identify why the standard is in place. The drop-down list contains more than 20 different standard types. Your school, district, or state may have a type they use or reference often. If that is the case, use that type of standard.  If you chose Grade in the Type list, use the Grade list to specify the grade to which the standard applies.
