  4. 5. Why was the “Passport” created? <ul><li>Helps alleviate faculty resistance. </li></ul><ul><li>Improves course development efficiency. </li></ul><ul><li>Becomes an exemplar for future courses. </li></ul>

What is a “Passport”? <ul><li>A resource, not a formal training course. </li></ul><ul><li>An exemplar for using graphics, audio, multimedia and technology – even an AVATAR! </li></ul><ul><li>Passport, as the theme, represents various destinations in the course development journey. </li></ul>
  6. 7. What was the design process? <ul><li>Audience analysis </li></ul><ul><li>Stakeholder involvement </li></ul><ul><li>Faculty buy-in </li></ul><ul><li>Collaborative design process </li></ul><ul><li>Promotion </li></ul>Hi, I’m ADDIE. I’ll be your guide on this virtual adventure!

How is it being used? <ul><li>Faculty explore the site before the kickoff meeting. </li></ul><ul><li>Faculty revisit the site for additional information while working with IDs. </li></ul><ul><li>Site is used as exemplar during brainstorm sessions. </li></ul><ul><li>Site is in LMS to provide experience with the tool before online courses are developed. </li></ul>
