«Multifunctional hybrid peer-to-access with latencyaccess rankings for broadband multimedia databroadcasting»SubjectIn 2012 Department of Automatics and Remote Control have started working inthe new subject:
Information delivery methods toInternet usersClientServerClient Client...Need to pay forserver content and channelCentralizedClient ClientUsing users resourcesDecentralizedClientClient
Bypass of limits, connected with finite bandwidth servercommunication channels, due to a more uniform trafficdistribution across the network;Network reliability increasing, due to multiple duplication;Network significant cost reduction by reducing or eliminatingdedicated servers and high-speed communication channels;More efficient use of network participants resources;Network participants partial anonymization.Decentralized peer topeer networksadvantages

Even in 2007 74% of Internet traffic fell on peer to peer networksPeer to peer networksimportance
Existing peer to peer networks limitationsEven in Russia, many users already have access channels 1 Gbit/s,which opens up to peering networks new opportunities.Existing solutions do not provide the growing demand forinteractive «live» delivery of multimedia data, includingthose associated with the growing popularity of variousmobile devices. Thus, development of multi-functional hybrid peer to peer network withlatency access rankings for broadband multimedia data broadcasting isrelevant and promising task, which allows to improve quality of multimediadata access.Existing P2P technologies in various subject areasare quite fragmented, that leads to fragmentationand reducing network reliability.
Financial backingExpected outcomes in accordance with the grant agreement:• Number of graduate students - performers of research work, presenteddissertations to the Dissertation Board = 1;• Number of students, graduate students, PhD students and youngresearchers, enshrined in the sphere of science, education and high-tech= 2;• Number of researchers - performers of research work, whose results willbe published in the top-rated Russian and foreign channels = 4;• Scientific and educational courses development = 2;• Popular science materials development = 1.This work was supported by a grant of the FederalTarget Program "Research and scientific-pedagogicalpersonnel of innovative Russia"
Ongoing results• Analytical review of the scientific literature, regulatory andtechnical documentation;• Chosen research method objectivation;• Математическая модель многофункциональной гибриднойпиринговой сети.Program-methodical documentation:• Classification and analysis of modern technology peer to peernetworks performed in terms of capacity delivery of multimediacontent in real time;• Proposed and justified a new application solution in the areaof peer to peer networks, formalized in the form of amathematical model.Novelty:

Practical applicationNew type of peer to peer networks, based on the optimization of latencystreaming multimedia data deployment;Improving the efficiency, reliability, quality of access to the various categoriesof multimedia content in global networks;Supported network should become one of the components of nationalsoftware platform; This project doesn’t stipulate for commercialization, because such projectstend to have successful and widely spread, while develope as an open andfree software.
Project future developmentProject future development ispossible within the internationalcommunity of open and free software(open-source, free software).By now As part of these informalcommunities had been successfullydeveloped a significant number ofprojects that have a significant impacton IT industry and techno spheredevelopment.
