1.4 AchievementsMathematical model reflecting the connectivity of structuresand geometric parameters of saws with stability factors wasdeveloped.Dependence of the saw blade on its geometrical parametersrigidity was received.Thermal fields in the disk saws were simulated.Saw blade natural frequencies and critical speed wereidentified.Saw blade tension was simulated.Quantity, area location, shape and size of the compensationslots were defined.Optimum number of teeth was determined.Most effective cutting conditions were determined (saw speedand feed rate).An experimental setup for dynamic characteristics of circularsaw blades investigation was constructed and installed.

2.2 Project science areaEnergy-saving technologies in the woodworking.2.3 The essence of the projectManufacturing technology of finger joints using energy-efficient waste-free methodof forming the elements of finger-pressing socket connections for adhesive joints in joinery andfurniture products.Economic efficiency of the new method is caused by:- energy intensity of the process reduction;- environmental performance improving;- Cost of tools manufacturing reducing.Nodes for pressing spikes are well integrated into automated production lines.2.4 Development directionsPossible cooperation with enterprises in areas:- development of mode pressing elements finger joints in the blanks of wood;- development of construction equipment for pressing spikes;- assessment of the quality of furniture parts compounds and joinery production.

3.3 The essence of the projectFor different cutting plans bundled solutions designed algorithmoptimization problem to determine the optimal sizes of lumber. To solve optimizationproblems by cutting logs the method of Lagrange multipliers.The project examines the main ways of cutting: breakup, lumber, sawingwith one, two and three bars, lumber, and a circular segment.3.4 Main publications1.
