  1. 1. Fetal MRI <ul><li>Neurodevelopmental outcome and parental perceptions of care </li></ul>
  2. 2. Introduction <ul><li>Increasing use of fetal MRI in prenatal diagnostics. </li></ul><ul><li>Fetal brain MRI is used for more detailed assessment of fetuses with sonographically suspected brain abnormalities. </li></ul>
  3. 3. <ul><li>There is a scarcity of data on the neurodevelopmental outcome of children who have undergone fetal MRI. </li></ul><ul><li>Complete scarcity of literature on the perception of parents who have undergone fetal MRI, and recent studies have highlighted the need for a prospective study to allow appropriate counseling. </li></ul>

Aims and Objectives <ul><li>Calculate the number of fetal MRIs that resulted in TOP, IUFD, NND and surviving infants. </li></ul><ul><li>Examine relationships between prenatal and postnatal MRI findings. </li></ul><ul><li>Examine the relationships between fetal MRI diagnosis and subsequent neurodevelopmental outcome of surviving infants. </li></ul><ul><li>Explored parental views on the care and advice they were given when referred for fetal MRI </li></ul>
