  • The Comenius Programme is named after Jan Amos Comenius, often considered the father of modern education. Comenius is aimed at schools, colleges and local authorities across Europe.

Link with cookery club Nick Nairn, Tom Kitchin, Martin Wishart etc. </li></ul>

    11. 11. Year 2 <ul><li>Endangered animals in Scotland??? </li></ul><ul><li>From August – October 2010 each year group will undertake an interdisciplinary study on one endangered animal. The final product (booklet/blog/powerpoint etc) will be added to the Comenius website and key facts will appear in the calendar. </li></ul>

Eco calendar <ul><li>Each school to be responsible for two months of the year. </li></ul><ul><li>Interactive, on-line calendar </li></ul><ul><li>Displayed on backdrop/screensaver on each class computer </li></ul><ul><li>Top tips to leave smaller footprints included </li></ul><ul><li>Mascot included too </li></ul>
