    30. 30.  It is important that you know the three different kinds of Suits that are generally available in the market. 9/2/2013Presentation By: Vinay Shekhar 30
    31. 31. 1. THE AMERICAN CUT- This cut was first introduced by Brooks Brothers in 1895.  Boxy silhouette S  Straight hanging lines  Natural shoulders (no padding)  Flap pockets  Single center vent (single slit at the back) in the jacket The American cut is a classic cut. This is a fine choice for somebody who is middle aged and is planning to wear his first suit. Also, take note that if your work requires of you to wear a suit for long hours, a comfort fit American Cut Suit is the ideal choice. 9/2/2013Presentation By: Vinay Shekhar 31

    33. 33. 2. THE BRITISH CUT – The British Cut Suit is slightly more shaped around the waist than the American suit.  Double vents (two slits at the back)  Higher armholes.  The sleeves are narrower than American Cut Suit.  The shoulders are more crisp and they have flap pockets. A British Cut Suit is ideal if you are not comfortable wearing a Suit that’s either too boxy or too slim fit. If you are an average built, the British Cut Suit is for you. 9/2/2013Presentation By: Vinay Shekhar 33

    35. 35. 3. EUROPEAN CUT (ITALIAN) – This is the slimmest of them all.  It is slightly shorter in length compared to an American or a British Cut Suit.  This has a very well shaped waist, narrow slim sleeves and no vents at the back. If you have a slim frame and a flat stomach, this suit is meant for you. Buy a slim fit Suit with a single button or maximum two buttons and narrow lapels. These suits are particularly meant for more dressy occasions. 9/2/2013Presentation By: Vinay Shekhar 35

    37. 37.  A tuxedo (American English) or dinner suit or dinner jacket (British English) is a semi-formal evening suit distinguished primarily by satin facings on the jacket's lapels and buttons and a similar stripe along the out seam of the trousers. The suit is typically black (though may be midnight blue) and commonly worn with a formal shirt, shoes and other accessories, most traditionally in the form prescribed by the black tie dress code.[1] 9/2/2013Presentation By: Vinay Shekhar 37

    43. 43.  With a Natural Shoulder, the suit is designed along the natural curvature of your shoulder, and it give the jacket is rounded effect. On the other hand, the padded shoulder are designed with thick or light padding giving a more tailored and angular look.  All jackets are constructed around the shoulders, therefore is very important part of an excellent fit for a suit. The shoulder pads should not cross your shoulder and this cannot be fixed through alterations. With a bespoke or made-to-measure suit, the skilled tailor will be able to help to get the best shoulder fit – that’s what make the difference. 9/2/2013Presentation By: Vinay Shekhar 43

    49. 49.  Today what we generally call a blazer jacket is actually the offspring of two distinct jacket styles, one being double breasted and having a British military origin while the other is single breasted having evolved from the jacket worn at rowing clubs between 1870 to 1950. 9/2/2013Presentation By: Vinay Shekhar 49

    52. 52.  A blazer should fit in the same fashion a suit jacket and sport coat should.  Room in the shoulders to allow full arm movement but not so much room that the shoulders are over extending the shoulder points by more than ½ inch.  Room in the chest to fully button the jacket but not enough to hide a baseball.  The blazer jacket sleeves should extend to the wrist bone and show ¼ to ¾ an inch of shirt cuff when standing straight.  The jacket length should always fully cover your backside – it can be a bit longer if you are taller than six foot, and should lean on the shorter side if you are shorter than five foot six. 9/2/2013Presentation By: Vinay Shekhar 52

    54. 54.  Grey Flannel Trousers – the perfect partner for a blazer jacket, grey flannel trousers compliment a wide range of sport jackets as well and have historically been the go to trousers for stylish men for almost a century. They are comfortable, classic, and durable.  Khaki Trousers – Will make a man look a bit shorter as this combination’s contrast in colour draws attention to the midsection instead of allowing the eyes to flow from head to toe. Men south of five foot seven and those with substantial midsections should try to wear either darker shades of khaki or skip this option altogether.  White Cotton Slacks – A great summer choice, white cotton trousers require a bit of personality to pull off and need to be worn with care. The pros outweigh the cons here though; if you can pull it off, the contrast looks great.  Quality Denim (aka Jeans) – Levi 501s, 505s or 531s work well, but there are so many types out there it shouldn’t be too hard to find something that works for your body shape. 9/2/2013Presentation By: Vinay Shekhar 54
    55. 55.  Polo T-Shirts are pullover sport shirts of knitted cotton. It has short sleeves designed for comfort and casual wear. It is T-shaped shirt with a collar, two or three buttons down a slit below the collar, two small slits on the bottom of either side, or an optional pocket. Wide horizontal stripes are common, as are solid colour shirts. Polo T-Shirts are worn by tennis, polo, and golf players. This style is also worn by those merely associated to the sports by work, such as caddies, golf professionals, and sports announcers. It is also a favoured shirt for those working outside, such as groundskeepers and construction workers due to its ruggedness. 9/2/2013Presentation By: Vinay Shekhar 55
