The villa dates back to the 17th century and was built in one of the most panoramic and charming towns
on the Sorrento peninsula, an ideal location that offers the best spectacular perspective of the island of
Capri. It has become part of history for being the house of Gioacchino Murat, the King of Naples, who
led the famous battle to conquer the island of Capri from the terrace. A writing on the façade of the
villa commemorates the event.
