 Taj wants to use MEAN (Mongo, express,
angular, node)
 Taj has a vision to develop huge database
and huge multilingual, multicounty systems
 Taj plans to implement IBM Watson or Watson
like AI/NLP for talent management in the
future

 Mycareer will be a global talent management
portal
 Companies can source talent from any part of
the world
 Candidates can search and apply for jobs in
any part of the world
 Seamlessly integrate and reuse data across
sister projects Staffion and Emuser
 Be accoutable to 3RConnect which is the
parent company
 Future plans to use Natural Language to query
and retrieve data using NLP and AI
 Provide accurate results that are comparable to
that of IBM Watson

5. Today’s Situation
 Service providers are facing challenges in
managing huge data and quality of jobs and
resumes
 Location transparency is not present
 Difficulty in resourcing international jobs and
candidates
 Life cycle of hiring , legal formalities( visa
relocation) and international laws are not
being used effectively
 Huge gap in demand and supply leading to
customer dissatisfaction and higher attrition of
staff
 Large lead times for in demand of specialist
skills or special client needs

6. Solution Options
1. Partner with IBM for an end to end solution
for IBM Watson , Web tier development
using MEAN stack and IBM cloud
2. Partner with IBM only for Infrastructure of
IBM Watson and IBM cloud; rest done in-
house
3. Option 2; with an offshore development
outsourced work for web and cloud
development
4. Use a non-IBM products that are slightly
cheaper and compromise on quality ;
integrate everything in-house
5. Option 4 but outsource everything; only do
final integration at data centre in US

7. Recommendation – Option 3
and
 Surely you are on the right path using MEAN
and NoSQL
 Also use concepts of Big Data Hadoop like
Map-Reduce
 Leverage cloud platform to handle large
volumes of demand and supply side scalability
and response time (SLA)
 IBM Watson costs about $3 million; it is worth
the money as in house development can cost
more than $30 million
 IBM Watson can respond in few other
languages than English; so leverage this

8. Recommendation – Option 3
and
 MEAN stack will be supportive mainly for
data stored in multilingual and in various
countries;
 Initial servers can be local and later these
can be integrated across data centres
 With this any person can query in any
language to retrieve resumes or jobs as
needed
 Initial estimated cost is about $10 million
includes all the above
 Income can start post production ( after an
year of work and partnering with IBM)
 Break even can be expected in about 2
years of full sale operations across 2-3
