It needs no explaining the fact that Internet has a major role to play in various aspects of our life. With increased penetration of Internet in the country, parents of our previous generation, not very well acquainted with the nuances of internet need to be told about the possibilities it holds; along with the points of concern.

This presentation, taken at Kottayam Yogakshemam Samithi in Kerala was aimed at increasing awareness about internet among the parents and exposing them and their kids to the pros and cons of this medium. The session also dealt with major points of concern with respect to privacy on the internet and general tactics employed by cyber-predators & cyber-bullies, and best practices for ensuring proper use of the medium by the kids, under parental control.
