As the first premium gym to offer affordable pricing in Singapore, their popularity meant they quickly expand into a multi- outlet business. Successfully operating six branches across Singapore, GYMM BOXX saw the need to optimise and innovate the way they managed their business. Partnering with Eisol, a certified Vend Expert and cloud solutions provider, they developed a complete solution to help manage their business - through a seamless and customised integration with Vend. What. GYMM BOXX realised their business had outgrown the point-of-sale system they had originally implemented. With six branches across Singapore and plans to expand into a franchise model, they needed a tool that could grow with their business. The company reviewed various POS solutions, and decided that Vend was the best fit for them, but with requirements for membership management they needed a customised solution. So, the team at Eisol took on the challenge to build one. They created a membership management application that would seamlessly integrate with the Vend platform and increase efficiencies in: • Managing memberships and selling merchandise • Consolidating sales reports across the branches • Monitoring sales performance • Tracking inventory to prompt stock replenishment MEMBERSHIP MANAGEMENT SYSTEM: Using Vend as the foundation for building an integrated solution, Eisol created a new membership management system from scratch. Kelvin Low, Partner at Eisol, worked closely with Umar Faruq, General Manager at GYMM BOXX, to conceptualise the workflow behind the application. GYMM BOXX’s custom system captures new member information from Vend and tracks customer activity. Using a unique membership number, the system recognises each time a customer checks in at a GYMM BOXX branch as well as the validity of that membership. VEND IMPLEMENTATION: With six locations to set up on the new system, GYMM BOXX relied on Eisol’s expertise to make sure the technology was correctly implemented and that staff were fully onboarded. Without disrupting the business, Kelvin installed Vend across all branches and provided customised training for key staff members. “We were a bit apprehensive about how difficult it would be to set up the new system, but it was so easy working with Eisol. The ability to monitor real-time sales performance from his smartphone meant Umar could manage the business from almost anywhere. Vend’s ease of use and Eisol’s effective training also allowed the GYMM BOXX team to quickly adopt the new system.
