1985 - Accredited by (European) Council of International
Schools(ECIS) and New England Association of Schools and
Colleges(NEASC)
1992 - First in world to be approved for International Baccalaureate
Middle Years Programme
1995 - Re-accredited by ECIS and NEASC
1996 - Curriculum approved by KUF based on Grunnskoleloven.
2005 – Re-accredited by CIS and NEASC
2009 – Authorised for International Baccalaureate Primary Years

8. International Baccalaureate Curriculum
The International Baccalaureate aims to develop inquiring,
knowledgeable and caring young people who help to create a
better and more peaceful world through intercultural
understanding and respect.
To this end, the organization works with schools, governments
and international organizations to develop challenging
programmes of international education and rigorous
assessment.
These programmes encourage students to become active,
compassionate and lifelong learners who understand that
other people, with their differences, can also be right.
