  2. 2. About DiVA• Started in 2000 – Electronic Publishing Centre (EPC), Uppsala – Purpose was primarily to publish doctoral theses• A completely new version in 2008 – combined system for full texts and bibliographic references (evaluation/bibliometrics)• Built on open source software
