Introduction LAHORE: Punjab Finance Minister Mian MujtabaShuja ur Rehman presented Rs 871.95 billion budgetfor the next fiscal year with special emphasis oneducation, health, agriculture and communicationsectors. The general revenue receipts by Punjab havebeen estimated at Rs 871.95 out of which Rs 702.12billion will be received from the federal governmentunder National Finance Commission (NFC) awardwhile the provincial receipts including the tax andnon-tax revenues have been estimated at Rs 169.83billion in the budget.
Rs 290 billion out of which Rs 240 billion have been allocated for the AnnualDevelopment Programmed (ADP) while Rs 50 billion have been earmarked for thedevelopment grants.

RECOMMENDATION1.Name of this budget “2. 10 percent salary and pensions are not enough.3. Salary of MPA’s increase 100 percent.4.Metro bus start in three cities.5.GST increase 1 percent.6. Change the name of Banzir income support(national income support)7 .subsidy for floor 28 billion which is not enough.
